It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Cairns in August 2017, who died peacefully after a long illness. It is beyond doubt that as an addictions therapist and foster parent Bill saved many lives and touched countless others. His influence and legacy to Contemporary Psychotherapy is immense. As a school and a community we will strive to keep alive and continue to share the great wisdom, compassion and knowledge that Bill bequeathed to us. He is a true exemplar of a life well lived and will always be in our hearts (and in our work).
