| How to Become a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist through BeeLeaf |
|
BeeLeaf Institute is a UKCP Member Organisation and part of the Outcome Oriented and Hypno-Psychotherapy Section of UKCP. To be eligible for UKCP Registration as a Psychotherapist with BeeLeaf it is necessary to achieve our Advanced Diploma in Contemporary Psychotherapy. The duration of psychotherapy training prior to Accreditation is a minimum of 4 years part-time. The Advanced Diploma consists of various Modules of study and clinical practice. Details can be found in the full prospectus (click on the 'Download a Prospectus' button on the right side of this page). All applicants, at any stage of BeeLeaf’s training in Contemporary Psychotherapy, must be able to study at Post Graduate level. If you do not hold a first degree, or equivalent, your previous work experience and life skills will be taken into consideration. It is important that you provide sufficient information on your Form to support your Application. To offer maximum flexibility to our trainees, who come from a variety of background and experience, we offer a modular training that may include exemptions from some training modules due to Accredited Prior Learning (APL). Because different trainees come to us at different stages of their development, and because every individual has different commitments and challenges, we have built into our syllabus considerable choice in the order of completion of training. Some people come to train with BeeLeaf from the beginning of their study in these subjects, while others first enrol for a Continuing Professional Development module and are so inspired by the Contemporary Psychotherapy model that they choose to add the full BeeLeaf Accreditation to their existing qualifications in psychotherapy and counselling. |
