Pamela Gawler-Wright is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist who has taught on UKCP Accredited trainings since 1994. As Director of Training, Pam created the Contemporary Psychotherapy qualifying training as a much needed qualifying path for today’s psychotherapist who wishes to align with the best contemporary approaches to psychotherapy within a pluralist framework for a diverse society. Qualified by UKCP in two different modalities herself, Pam is a champion of integration of the combined wisdoms of different psychotherapy traditions into a 21st Century paradigm. Pam is also External Moderator for the Institute for Transactional Analysis and a long serving member of the UKCP Ethics Committee. She is a guest trainer for several other institutes, has presented at numerous conferences and events for organisations such as UKCP, BACP and ITA. Pam is particularly known for her exposition of Ericksonian Psychotherapeutic principles and is a celebrated story teller with two published CDs of therapeutic storytelling. She is a frequent and sought after writer who is published in many trade and other publications. Her training is renowned for being creative, fun, challenging and within a safe environment, bringing together tremendously diverse groups into harmonious and uplifting shared experience.
Pam runs a busy East End of London psychotherapy practice and continues to push the boundaries of current psychotherapeutic understanding to serve more clients better.

Mandy-Jane Herring

Director of BeeLeaf
Mandy-Jane joined BeeLeaf in 1999. She is responsible for managing the design and implementation of new policies and in particular brings to this Organisation her skills in co-ordinating and monitoring educational structures and systems. As Senior Director she shares responsibility for the overall running and development of the Organisation and was instrumental in taking BeeLeaf forward to becoming a Training and Accrediting Member Organisation of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), in March 2006.
Prior to her time with BeeLeaf, Mandy spent several years working in London as a full time Teacher in the Classroom and at Management Level. She led an array of educational initiatives and collaborated with Government, and Researchers at Kings College, London on both Local and National Projects. Previous posts held include Team Management in a London hospital.

Dr Anne Lane
Anne Lane is a BPS Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Systemic Psychotherapist and a Statutory Member of the Health Professionals Council. She has worked for over 15 years as a researcher / clinical psychologist in mental health in the NHS and in third sector organisations. Drawing on her experience in fields ranging from acute secure psychiatric settings / CMHT's and recovery teams, through to mental heath outreach teams for people with learning disabilities and child and family centres, Anne brings a lively, practical, ethical and vigorous approach to training. Keen to develop systemic / contextual ways of understanding mental health issues, she is actively involved in teaching, training and supervising for both the PCT and third sector organisations in Newham, East London, whilst working therapeutically with individuals and families. Anne gained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University of East London, Diploma in Systemic Psychotherapy at the Institute of Family Therapy, Birkbeck College and Masters in Systemic Psychotherapy from the Tavistock Centre, London. Anne has also achieved the BeeLeaf Practitioner Certificate in NLP and Foundation Certificate in Contemporary Psychotherapy and fully engages with the multi-modal approach cherished by our Institute.

Dr Don Rawson
Don is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and University Lecturer. Don has an extensive research background and specialises in teaching research methodology. He sees his role as demystifying research and empowering practitioners to create forms of research that are consistent with the aims of therapeutic work. His publications include reports from a number of major funded research studies. He has written about counselling, health education, inter-professional work and research methodology.

Mike Shallcross
Mike brings to BeeLeaf a variety of perspectives, from his present work in community mediation and previous experience as a management consultant, tax specialist and theology lecturer. Mike is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and has been involved with personal development for nearly 20 years.

Bill Cairns
Bill is Clinical Director and Training Manager for Synergy, one of the countries most successful projects for people committed to recovery from addiction and dependency. His many years of working at the chalk face with issues such as domestic violence, working with children of substance abusers, sexual addictions, chemical and alcohol dependency, gambling and family systems have enabled Bill to devise and share successful approaches with Colleagues and Clients.
Bill brings respectful challenge and warm humour into the training room. His knowledge, skills and wisdom are always appreciated by the Trainee and experienced Practitioner alike.

Andy Flack
Andy is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist and Coach. As well as running a private practice based in London Andy also works in a psychiatric hospital in the South of England. Andy brings to BeeLeaf trainings his variety of experience and expertise in a way which adds life, warmth and clarity.

Tony Wheatley
After a varied career, including working as an Economist, nursing assistant in a Hospice, University Chaplain, in places as far apart as the Shetland Islands and Guyana, via Mexico, and the USA, Tony now works anywhere people interest him enough (hence his connection with BeeLeaf).He is also an INLPTA trained NLP Trainer with an M.A. in Economics!

Laurie Macdonald
Laurie is an experienced UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and runs a private practice in London. She also has much experience of working within psychiatric clinics and hospitals. Laurie specialises in anxiety related disorders, particularly in PTSD, moderate to severe depression, personality disorders and long term psychiatric disorders. Her training and many years as a Clinical Supervisor make Laurie an invaluable source of knowledge and wisdom to all those working in the field.

Alyson Brickley
With her passion for education and human growth Alyson has dedicated several years to teaching and training within the Further and Higher Education Sector – providing for a range of learning needs. Her areas of specialism include Philosophy and Health & Social Care. Working in the field as a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor (and being an experienced Parent!) means that Alyson is also able to bring to this Organisation a wealth of skills and expertise which support and enrich the learning experience of the BeeLeaf Student.
